This cast iron cooking pot is mainly used for dishes that need to simmer quite a long time such as hotchpotch, stew, coq au vin, spaghetti sauce, … Cast iron guarantees gradual and even heating up as well as optimal heat retention. The pot is suitable for all hobs, also for induction. Prior to first use: rub the edges of the pot and lid with vegetable oil or fat. Never use sharp or abrasive objects. Cleaning: never put the hot pot in cold water. Always allow the pot to cool down before cleaning. Rinse with warm water and wipe off immediately.
